Dick Anderson

Friday I put this poster from my retirement party in a frame and hung it on the shop wall by my desk.  It is getting close to twenty years since that party.
Today we went to a funeral for Dick Anderson at the Winlock High School.  I have been flying with him at Toledo almost as long as I have been retired.  The picture is a memorial they had that showed Dick's interests.  He worked for the railroad, was a fireman who retired as the chief, flew radio control planes and cars.  He was president of our club for eleven years.  The fire department had a big part in the ceremony and a bagpiper played Amazing Grace which was very moving.
After the service we had lunch in Napavine and then went home via the Jackson Hwy.  I have looked at this barn many times, today I turned around and went back to get a picture.
On the Barnes Drive I did it again and went back to get a picture of this little canyon.  I spent the afternoon and evening finishing up the church directory so I could take it Sunday.
