Here it is Thursday already!

Tuesday my goal was to get the sheetrock hung up before we went to Bev's birthday dinner.  I got it done, this is just before we left.  We picked up James in Kalama and he rode down to the Applebee's in Vancouver with us.  We had a nice time getting caught up with him on the way.  We got there a half hour early, I texted Bev to see if there was a reservation made.  There wasn't so we went in and found out it would be about an hour until they could seat a party of nine.  It turned out the wait was only about 45 minutes which was good because most of them only had to wait about 15 minutes.
We had a good time at dinner, there was lots of laughter and Applebee's food is always good.  On the way out we had get our birthday pictures taken.  James and Josh were doing their best to photobomb us.

Wednesday I went to Coffee with the Pastor, got my hair cut and picked up a bucket of spackle for the sheetrock.  When I got home, I put on work clothes and started taping and putting the spackle on.  I hate that job, but it had to be done.  I did some more organizing when I finished that job and left a nice thumb print in the spackle when I checked to see if it was dry, it wasn't!

This morning I started sanding right after breakfast, then I vacuumed up the dust and applied a second coat of spackle.  I was due to have a blood test so I went down to get it and visit Bob in the hospital.  Cathy had called this morning and told me he was there.  He was in fair spirits when I was there and had just eaten for the first time since Monday.  He said the chicken broth tasted really good.  I spent the evening putting more things on the new shelves and cleaning up the shop area.  I have sure been sleeping good since I started this project.
