Easter

Easter started out pretty cold, there was frost on the shop roof!  That made it easy to skip sunrise services.  Vera and I went to church for the 11 PM service and it had warmed up quite a bit by then.

The forecast didn't sound too promising for our 2 PM family get together at Cathy's, but it turned out to be a nice afternoon.  After a nice meal it was time for the kids to hunt Easter eggs, but first there was the group photo.

Then the mad dash for the eggs.

It is really fun watching the kids hunt, they are running everywhere.

After the kids had checked out their loot, we went down to Dan and Robin's driveway for the raw egg toss.  Auna and Parker were the winners this year.

Then it was back up to Bob and Cathy's for the egg roll.  The little kids got to go first and they all got a prize.  Then the older kids and adults went at it.  My egg fell apart before the end so I was out.  Steve ended up being the winner and then we hit the desserts again.  It was a very nice day and we had a great time.  I am already looking forward to next year.
