Vera and I headed up to Toledo a little after 9 this morning. The 2 heaters are the most important part of my setup today, the high was about 40 degrees! I had made some changes to the Facetmobile, so it was the first thing I flew. Vera came out and volunteered to take some video of it with the new video camera setup. She did great and I will add a link to the video later. We were all by ourselves until a guy who got a plane for Christmas showed up. He had tried to fly it 4 times and crashed each time. He wanted to know if he could try it at our field where there is more room. Because he did not belong to the AMA (which provides our insurance), I had to tell him No, but I would check it out and test fly it for him if it checked OK. It checked good enough to try, so I took it up and trimmed it. He took some video of the flight and was really excited to see it fly. I let him do some flying high enough to stay out of trouble. After the flight, I made some suggestions of changes needed before he brought it back to test fly again. Only 4 other flyers showed up today, but we had a good time. We headed home about 3 and after unloading, I put the motor home in it's carport, the first time it has been there for many weeks. I spent the evening editing pictures and videos.
Here is the video Vera took of the Facetmobile flying.
