Vera had a dentist appointment this morning so we were off early for that. Typically they were 20 minutes late getting her in. I almost got the Oregonian read before she was done. Then back home for a little time on the B-36 before James' basketball game at 3:30. Vera had her knitting class at the church so I got to take the van. I had forgotten to change the brake light bulb that burned out so it was a rush job before I left. He had a great game and was really tickled to get 8 points and 7 steals.

He chased a loose ball right into the opponents bench. Everyone rushed over, but he hopped up smiling. Fun game, they won 58 to 28 or something like that. I talked to Barry this afternoon, it was 21 there this morning and the high was 47 I believe. Maybe the weather is getting him ready for coming home in a couple of weeks. It will be nice having him back in the area again.
