This is the culprit, it is going in the trash. After lunch I shifted things around so I could get the Blazer in the carport and started changing the starter.
As you can see, the mounting bolts are easy to get at! That's where the easy part ended, the wires are on top and there is no way to get to them. Two extensions and a swivel with a socket on it and I finally got them loose. I compared starters and they were the same so I started putting it back together. All I had done was wrestle it into position when I noticed I had the old one. Sure glad I noticed that right away! The wires were the big hangup going back in also, but things went a little faster and the whole job took a little over two hours. It sure starts a lot better now. Tomorrow looks like a nice day so when ever I went by the motor home I put another battery on charge.
