I felt really ambitious this morning so I decided to install the new pump in the pond.
I decided to move the bigger pump that still worked to the skimmer position where it ran through the bubbler. I installed the new pump as a stand alone unit that flows into the back of the upper pond. That worked out great as the bubbler now is much more active.
The job went really well and I found all the parts I needed out in the shop, so I did not need to make a run to the hardware store.
The waterfall runs much fuller now.
When I finished with the other pond I pulled some weeds around this one. After lunch I went out to change oil and filter in the mower. There is a robin's nest close to where I was working with 4 babies in it. Every time I looked up at it they were still as could be. I went in the shop and looked out through the blinds and they were moving all around and flapping their wings when I wasn't out there. No picture of the mower, I took one but it was not too inspiring.
