Another beautiful day of flying

As we were leaving home this morning Vera noticed the sun hitting these maple leaves so she took a picture of the scene.

I have not had the two small planes out for a while.  The yellow and blue Leader is fairly aerobatic.  Leader is a strange name of a plane but that is what the plans called it.  The white and purple Lancair is fast for it's size, I have a telemetry receiver in it so I can read out altitude, temperatures and battery voltages on the transmitter.

I set the solar panel for my charging batteries out first thing this morning.  I charged my flying batteries all day and when we left the charging batteries were at 100%.
There was a little smaller turn out today than normal, I counted six flyers.
An old friend Stafford took this picture of me making a low slow pass with the F-4 Phantom.  I must be getting used to it as I really enjoyed the flights and made good landings both times.
They made three or four flights with the little F-18's today.  Dan is launching Ken's and Horty is ready to launch John's.
All three of them made nice landings fairly close together.
Dan is coming in to land with his Christian Eagle, it really has a nice color scheme.  It was a great day, I got in ten flights with some planes I haven't flown much lately.
