Sunrise, Mower and the Kitfox

10-15-2019 Vera had an early dental appointment today.  The sunrise was looking so nice I stopped on the Pleasant Hill overpass at Ostrander and took a couple of pictures.  After her appointment we went to the Pancake House for breakfast.  We stopped and checked on the motor home on the way home, I got to go into the shop and see what they have been doing.  When we got the motor home there was a dish receiver in one of the overhead cabinets.  I checked it out and it worked so I ordered a Dish Playmaker portable antenna for it.  It came today so I hooked everything up with the dish out on the deck.  I called Dish and we now have it working to take with us in the motor home.
Today Vera had bible study and I worked on the Kitfox until UPS showed up with the mower parts.  I mowed the lawn Monday and my wrists hurt pretty bad afterwards from turning the steering wheel which has gotten really hard to turn.  I tore it apart and discovered there was lots of slop in the steering mechanism.  I did some measuring and ordered flanged ball bearings to replace the bushings.  I got the old bushings drilled out and the new bearings installed this afternoon and it sure works a lot better.  The next time we have some nice weather I will put it back together.
In the first picture you can see the elevator servo I got installed today.  I used it as a guide for drilling the exit hole for the push rod in the tail.  The third time was a charm, I finally got the angle right.  I glued a plastic tube into the correct hole and sanded it flush.  Then I put filler around it and filled the two wrong holes
