A nice ride

After getting the mail we decided to go for a ride and have lunch at 19 mile only to discover that it is closed for the season.
We drove up to Bigfoot Country and looked at the Toutle River, it is kind of muddy after the heavy rains.  Then we headed back towards home.
Rather than going home for lunch we decided to go over the Toledo Cutoff and eat in Toledo.  It was a nice drive with very little traffic.
We filled the Smart Car up in Toledo, 38 mpg this tank, then went to Donna's to have lunch.  I ordered their mushroom and Swiss 1/3 pound burger.  It and the fries tasted great but I could only eat about half so I saved the rest for dinner tonight.
From Toledo we headed for Winlock, we went by the flying field but there was no activity there.  Then it was on to Hwy 12, past the glass plant, through Winlock and on to Vader.  We took the Westside to Chapman Rd, then Gassman Rd to Quick Rd and finally Umiker Rd where I took this picture.  We had a great time on a very relaxing ride.
