A stay at home day.

I was texting with Vera's niece Veda this morning on Facebook and she sent me this picture of Big Boy that they were watching go through Benson, AZ.

On the way to the shop this morning two Chinooks went over our house very low.  I didn't have a chance to grab a camera but when I got to the shop I got the Nikon all set up since I figured they would be headed back later.  About three I heard them coming so I headed outside with the camera.  They were much higher this time but I managed to get this picture of the second one.

When I finished working on the Kitfox and headed in tonight I stopped and took a couple of pictures of the skeleton we have up for Halloween.  Cell phones take nice pictures with lots of light but when it gets dark the Nikon is much better, you can compare this one with the one I posted on the 9th.

We put up solar motion lights on the storage container, when the motor home is parked there it is really dark between the two of them.

As long as I was taking pictures, I took one of the house too.  It was a nice laid back day.
