After spending last week getting the motor home serviced and loaded we headed out on our trip to Nevada and Arizona this morning. via the Oregon coast and California. This is the first picture of the trip taken over by Alston's Corner in Oregon.
Our first stop was the Warrenton Costco to finish stocking up the motor home.
Our second stop was at the Neahkahnie viewpoint, one of our favorites that we stop at anytime we are close.
This is the view of Neahkahnie Beach from the viewpoint, I have lots of pictures from here but I take some new ones every time.
Our first excitement of the trip was this log truck which went in ditch and the trailer ended up cross ways with the end blocking the lane as they backed it to a wide spot.
I had been planning on the Tillamook cheese factory clam strips ever since we started planning the trip. They have changed the restaurant to a fast food style and there were no clam strips listed, we did sample the cheeses which were very good.
We spent the first night in the Pleasant Valley RV Park just South of Tillamook. The first thing we saw were eight rabbits roaming around the park. James and I stayed here years ago when we made a trip to the Tillamook Air Museum.
