March 10th: I cleaned up the work bench so I could start on the wing.
I got all the ribs and spars punched out and assembled without any glue.
March 11th: I glued all the ribs today and then epoxied in the landing gear blocks and aileron servo mounting blocks.
March 14th: Today we went up to Toutle and had breakfast at the Diner. It was their first day of business and we wanted to try it out. The food was about like most places but they had one thing I had never tried, stuffed french toast. They make a hole in the center of one piece and fill it with eggs and bacon. I really liked it and would probably have it again. We plan on going back and try their lunch or dinner after they have been operating for a while. I did some more work on the P-39 and discovered a retractable nose gear in one of my drawers that is going to work great!
All during the time these two blogs cover I have been learning to use a new video editing program, Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I had tried many times to do the church play with Window Live Movie Maker but it couldn't handle the length of this video. I got it all edited in Vegas and made 16 copies for the play cast and handed them out at church on Sunday. When I finished it, I edited the Talent Show and made up copies for everyone who was in it.
