Tuesday we all got together with Barry for pizza before he headed back to Arizona. It was great fun getting together with everyone but I had to leave early for a club meeting in Longview. The good news is I am no longer the secretary of the club. I have been it many times and it was getting hard to put the time into it that the job needs. I would much rather be building airplanes or working on the radio control electronics.
Today it was 23 when I got up and I added an extra layer of clothes before going out. I had to thaw out the locks, scrape the windows and warm up both vehicles before going to the Vault for coffee with the Pastor. Normally I have an Italian Soda when I go there, but this morning I ordered a large hot chocolate! I puttered on the computer after I got home, when Vera got home from bible study she made the best french toast for lunch.
Jackie texted me another picture today of Cora holding onto her arm, She said Cora was holding her for ransom. I knew the shop stove was out of pellets but I put it off most of the day. Vera suggested using the garden trailer to haul them and it worked great. I loaded up six bags and took them to the shop, then I put the ramps I use for loading the mower on the shop porch steps and backed the trailer right onto the porch. From there I just had to pick them up and sit them on the cart I use in the shop.
Vera made Cheesy Hash browns and country gravy for dinner and boy was it good! I went out this evening and finished cleaning up the CV joint for the 4 wheeler, tomorrow I can start putting that axle back together.
