Demonstration

Michelle had asked me if I would put on a demonstration of radio control and quads for her robotics classes, of course I accepted!  This is how the setup looked before I started.
This is while I was flying for one of the four classes Michelle brought out.  A couple of other teachers brought their classes down to watch also.
This is the view the quad had from the South.  It was a little windy, but the quads handled it fine and gave a good demonstration of how the GPS controllers could hold the quad's position.  I had two receivers set up for the video signal, they could see the live video from the quads on a monitor or the laptop which was also showing the telemetry and had a moving map display of the school.
This is one of the classes.
Once I mentioned that this was a racing quad, they wanted to see it fly.  I was surprised how well it handled the wind and turbulence.  It was a fun morning that went by very fast.
