It was a little foggy this morning, so we walked before going to Toledo. I kept stopping to take pictures, then I would have to catch with Peggy and Vera.
The Rock had a little fog around it, I found this spot where it was showing above this maple.
Every morning since the fish have been running, this pickup has been here when we walk. After our walk, we picked up sandwich materials before heading to Toledo.
It was still foggy when we got to the flying field, so I flew my Super Cub with lights, it wasn't long until the fog cleared. Then it was shirt sleeve weather with very little wind, which made for great flying, I think I put in 12 flights. Vera and I were the first ones there, but it wasn't long until there were 10 of us flying.
On his first flight of the day, Leonard's plane quit responding to commands and crashed. He thinks that maybe the switch wasn't turned all the way on.
Mt Rainier has quite a bit of snow, but I could not see any on Mt St Helens. We finally headed home about 6 and stopped at the South Lewis County Park to eat dinner and watch the ducks. They swam right over in front of us and quacked like crazy before going over by a car that pulled up to see if they would feed them.
