The battery is installed in the Kitfox and it is ready for it's first flight.
It is just about ready to lift off in this picture.
The Kitfox flies great and I ended up flying it three times today.
This is our friend Horty with his new F7F Grumman Tigercat.I got to do the maiden flight on it and it flew great. I flew a second flight on it also and really enjoyed it since it was all trimmed out then.
This is the result of a midair collision between Jim and Chuck. Chuck's plane came down really hard but Jim was able to glide down and make a controlled landing even though the landing gear was gone and the motor was hanging out on it's wiring. Chuck was not having a good day as he crashed one earlier when he got disoriented.I put in three flights on the B-36 after replacing the landing gear retract that gave me trouble in Arizona. I also put four flights on Steve's plane that is in the background. We stopped at the South Lewis County Park and had dinner again this afternoon on the way home. There were only a few geese there this time. It was a great day, all my planes flew great. As I was loading up a lady named Jennifer stopped and gave me three kits her husband had before he passed away. I think I will build one, I have already given a control line one away and I will put this one on the club forum for someone who will build it.
