I got all the blue on the bottom of the Vortex today. It went much faster than the other side since I used the backing from the other piece as a pattern. I started putting a coat of blue paint on the Leader's cowl and right away the paint underneath wrinkled. I let it dry in front of the stove, sanded it and gave it a couple of coats of primer. After that dried I tried painting again and got the same result. I am going give it a few days before I try again. Lots of rain today so the Ferrous Sulfate is turning the moss black, it looks like I got a pretty good result. Vera made spaghetti tonight, she didn't have any sauce so she added chili. It was great, my new favorite way to have spaghetti!
I got several pictures from Mik, they are in Reno seeing James and making regular stops at IN-N-OUT. We went there with James and they do make a pretty good hamburger and fries.
Now that I am caught up with my blog I did a little checking and we put 3789 miles on the motor home during the 33 days we were gone. The motor home ran great the whole trip, I did a little checking of a few tanks and it looks like we averaged about 7.5 to 8 miles to the gallon. The cheapest gas was at Costco in Tucson AZ at 2.08 per gallon.
