I put the motor home away after the New Years Day flying and got a load of pellets for the shop stove. Vera made corn bread for dinner, after that I took a little nap.

When I got all woke up from the nap I decided to go work on the B-36 a little. I got the second elevator shaped and hinged. Then I started on the rudder which meant I had to clean off the work bench.

I am forming the leading edge of the rudder with 1/16 inch balsa strips. I soaked them in hot water and then formed them around pins on the outline of the rudder. Once they are dry I will take them apart and glue it together. I left one part way formed for the picture so you could get a better idea what I am doing.
