Tuesday I was out watering the flowers and this rose smelled so good I had to take a picture of it and post it to Facebook with a comment about how good it smelled.

Tuesday I set up a display at the Castle Rock Middle school for Michelle's Empire Girls Class. So the girls could see another way of gathering information.
The girls liked seeing their self on the monitor and several of them asked some pretty good questions.

Thursday we took a load of supplies to Marie, she was in a good mood but we didn't stay long because we had a bunch of things we wanted to get done before it got hot. We stopped by and visited Barry next and got a tour of the place they are living in now. I had a couple of things I wanted at the hobby shop which is located on the way to the Lacey Costco after leaving there we stopped at Panera Bread for lunch. We hit Costco at the right time, they were serving lots of samples. One was an open face sandwich made with Havarti cheese, Basel Pesto and Turkey that was delicious, I went back and had three of them. We ended up with all the ingredients to make them. After eating at Panera Bread and all the samples I tried I was really full when we left.
When we were going up the driveway on the way home Vera spotted these two deer over by the burn pile. The doe stood up when we backed up to take the picture but they didn't run off.
I got what is called a pocket drone the other day to take to Michelle's class. It folds up small enough to fit into a large pocket. It has WiFi and will connect to a smart phone so you can take pictures and video. This is one of the pictures I took with it.

I had an appointment with my ophthalmologist today, everything checked good but they dilated my eyes so things were really bright when we left. We went to Applebee's for dinner, it is dark enough in there that I was pretty comfortable. For dessert we went to Coldspot Frozen Yogurt, Vera had the healthy looking one with fruit, mine was pretty well loaded up with toppings.
