Last night, I mentioned to Vera that I was going to take the Christmas lights down first thing today as rain was forecast for the afternoon. When I got done with breakfast and emails, I couldn't find her. I went outside and she was hard at work taking the lights down. I grabbed my hat, coat and gloves and hustled out to help. With the two of us doing it, we were done in about an hour. I got busy, got the garbage can loaded and down to the road, that is probably the earliest I have ever got that job done. After a delicious lunch of garlic bread with bacon and cheese on it, I settled in to watch a little TV, that turned into a nap! I went out later and cleaned the stove which had ran out of pellets and refilled it. Then I started working on the Stinson again. I got the landing gear mounted and after making some adjustments glued on the rudder.
Using the laser sure makes it a lot easier! Once the glue is dry, I will add the stabilizer using the laser again.
