Abernathy, Focaccia and Flying

When I looked out the West window this morning it looked like snow on Abernathy.  By the time I finished my exercises and remembered to take a picture it was gone, but I discovered there is a tower on Abernathy that I had never noticed.

Vera made Focaccia bread today and it turned out great!  She formed it into bun sized loafs and we used it to make hamburgers.

Today it got close to 80 degrees and I decided to go flying this afternoon.  Mt Rainier had a small cap on it which is  probably a signal for the rain forecast tomorrow.

There is not a lot of snow on Mt St Helens but is sure made for a pretty picture.

I am  putting the Skylane together, it has been a while since I have flown it.  The wind blew it over one day and broke the covering on the top of the wing.  I finally got it recovered and it flew great today.

I just flew the Skylane and Electra today because the field had not been mowed for a while and was pretty rough.  We stopped at Space Age on the way home and had dinner.  It was a nice ending for a great day.
